Template notice: this policy describes how the app currently works. Have it reviewed by a legal professional before launch, and keep it in sync with the app.
Saw That (the "App") is operated by Gameday Labs LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("Gameday Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address (and a password, stored securely by our authentication provider). You may also start using the App with an anonymous account that has no email.
- Content you create. The games you log and the details you add — dates, teams, venues, your seat/section, notes, photos you attach, and who you attended with.
- Usage & diagnostics. Anonymous analytics about how the App is used (for example, screens viewed and features used) and crash/error reports, to help us improve and fix problems.
- Device & technical data. Basic technical information such as device type, app version, and general region, collected through our analytics provider.
Much of your content is stored on your device and synced to our cloud database when you have an account.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the App and sync your data across your devices.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising.
3. Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third-party services to run the App. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — account authentication and cloud storage/sync of your data.
- PostHog — product analytics and crash reporting.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and network/proxy services.
- MLB Stats API — public game and statistics data. We request public data from this service; we do not send your personal information to it.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Saw That is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball or any of its teams. Team names, logos, and statistics are the property of their respective owners.
4. Your choices and rights
- Access & edit. You can view and edit the games and details you've logged in the App at any time.
- Delete. You can delete individual entries, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). Contact us to exercise them.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your associated data, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
